Well my first thoughts were that we can now finally hold a planted bomb from short, this is actually great currently you are looking to plant in 1 spot and that is the long spot. It will be kind of nice to be able to put more than one person on the short position. Hell thinking about it I bet you can successfully cover mid from Cat and with teamwork make it back to short where you can take down any defusing CT's (I'm not sure about the sound yet so we will have to see if you can hear it from there). I think a lot of people are only looking at this from a buying round perspective, let's think about the eco's. Currently on D2 if the T's have to eco they pretty much rush B or short, they have very little chance of planting the bomb the main goal really to take down a player or two. Now let's think if each player bought a smoke grenade, maybe one buys full armor, an organized team will be able to do a smoke screen across A whilst the armored player carries the bomb to the boxes and plants getting his team the money. With the bomb planted you never know they could even pull the round. I see this as being an attempt to make D2 ecos more friendly.
