I know this from experience unfortunately. Got it back though. The way I got it back was very illegal though. But lets just say There was a posting in craigslist, and I know someone who has this Saiga-12(bilde), Lets say just maybe it was put into the back of a car/truck and that mayby there was another driver possibly, and that I brought my motorcycle keys with me so I could start the bike up in front of the guy selling it (he said he lost the keys and that the steering lock was broken >=[)As soon as I walked up to the bike, I knew it was mine same scratches on the gas tank same Yoshimura exhaust same missing cowling screw, I had the key palmed so he couldn't see it and slipped it into the ignition, the bike started, and the guy looked surprised and pissed off. As soon as the bike started the other person who drove the car pulled out the monster cause the guy pulled out a knife, and told the guy to fuck off and get back inside his house as I drove the bike off. (This happened at night)
Guy got busted by the cops the next day after an anonymous tip with 12 other motorcycles in his garage.
Yes it was stupid but I don't trust cops out here, I worked with them for 3 1/2 fucking years. Only reason the guy got busted is because I had a "friend" who was in need of some extra credit for a promotion. They don't give a fuck otherwise. Its fucking sad.
