This year Riga is Europes capital of culture. It is very importnant for Latvia to show our land and what can be good here. Almost no one from other countries knows about what is good in Riga. As of this moment they will know about our architecture, delicious foods, beautiful nature and helpful people. They will know more than I told. Because they will visit Riga and if we will be lucky, maybe they will visit other towns too. Maybe someone will fell in love with Riga and come back again. This is Rigas chance to become more popular in eyes of Europe. And the euro will help us because people from Europe will be able to make purchases with their money. Just a few days ago Riga was officially became this years capital of culture. This year there will be very many exhibitions and interesting measures. Also this year Riga is in partnership with Sigulda so some measures will happen there. In Sigulda there will be festival whos target is to make people more creative. Exhibition "Dzintars Laiku Lokos" will introduce everyone with Baltic amber, create it's natural forms and introduce with it's importnant place in worlds amber deposits. There will also be a 5D film called "Look at Riga", it is first 5D film made in Latvia - a dinamic and amazing flight above Riga. Of course there will be more measures, these are just few of them. In overall this will be very importnant year for Riga because of euro, measure Riga 2014 and so many visitors. That's all I wanted to say for you. Thanks!
